NMAC Congressional Round Table on Trans Health and Safety July 30, 2023 – Posted in: Press

With trans rights under assault across the country, NMAC led an emergency roundtable on Capitol Hill on July 27, 2023, with members of Congress and nationally-known medical professionals and policy experts to demand urgent action to protect trans Americans.

The session was hosted by Congressional Equality Caucus Co-Chair Mark Takano (D-CA) and Congressional HIV/AIDS Caucus Co-Chair Barbara Lee (D-CA). It was also attended by Congresswoman Sara Jacobs (D-CA).
